Most George chapters contain a call to the SEG macro that identifies the "owner" of the chapter.
I assume the "owner" is either the programmer of the chapter, or the person responsible for modifications to the chapter.
So, who are these people? The following table gives the names and numbers of chapter for each name from the version of George available on the net, 8.67.

In some cases people have appeared to spell their names differently at different times, I've attempted to merge them, it is possible that I've merged seperate people. (For example "BIDGOOD", "J.D. BIDGOOD" and "JUDY BIDGOOD")
6 of the 74 people have female names, 39 male names and 29 are only known by their initials.
